This policy explains what personal information Spectra Pack collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and in plain language.
Who we are
This website is run by Spectra Pack, a manufacturer of flexible packaging, at A-1/503, GIDC Road, Phase 3, GIDC Umbergaon, Umargam, Gujarat 396171, India. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean Spectra Pack. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@spectrapack.co.in.
What we collect
Information you choose to send us. When you send the enquiry form, we receive the details you entered: your name, company, email address, phone number and, if you add them, your country, industry, the product you are interested in, the quantity and your message. The form is delivered through Netlify, the company that hosts this website, which keeps the submission in a password-protected account and emails it to our sales team. We also receive whatever you share when you call us, email us or message us on WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically. This website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, the server that hosts it may keep standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Services run by other companies. Some parts of the site are provided by third parties, who receive basic technical information such as your IP address when your browser loads them:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives enquiry form submissions on our behalf.
- Sanity, which stores the text and images of this website and delivers the images to your browser.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typeface used on every page.
- Google Maps, which shows our location on the contact page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
- WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps links. If you follow these links, you leave our site and the other service's own privacy policy applies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To process, deliver and support any order you place with us.
- To keep business records that the law requires us to keep, such as tax and accounting records.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you have asked to receive them.
Why we are allowed to use it
We process the information you send us with your consent, which you give by contacting us, and so that we can respond to a request you have made. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
Your information is seen by the people at Spectra Pack who need it to answer you. It is also handled by the providers we rely on to run our business, such as our email provider and Netlify, our website host, only for that purpose. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful for the enquiry or for an ongoing business relationship, and business records for as long as the law requires. After that we delete it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us:
- for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to erase it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
- to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request, write to info@spectrapack.co.in. We will reply within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us from loss and from unauthorised access. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information, such as bank or identity documents, through the enquiry form.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
